Reverse ASIN Lookup (Data Dive)

Data Dive's process of pulling every keyword each selected competitor ASIN is indexed for — comparable to Helium 10's Cerebro feature. Run across the full curated competitor set from Data Dive Competitor Set Curation, it generates the raw keyword pool (including keywords ranking as low as page 10-20) that then feeds the relevancy bucketing step and ultimately the master keyword list. Because the output quality depends entirely on which ASINs were selected beforehand, a reverse ASIN lookup run on a bloated or too-narrow competitor set produces a correspondingly noisy or thin keyword pool.

Divebox Tool & 20-ASIN Capacity

Data Dive's reverse-ASIN process runs through its Divebox tool, which analyzes up to roughly 20 competitor ASINs in a single pass — double the 10-ASIN cap on Helium 10's Reverse ASIN Lookup (Helium 10 Cerebro) via Helium 10 Cerebro. The larger competitor set is the main reason practitioners who've used Helium 10 for years switch specifically to Data Dive for keyword research (while still preferring Helium 10 Blackbox (Product Discovery Filters) for product research): a bigger analyzed set produces a more representative Master Keyword List. Output feeds Master Keyword List & Listing Scorecard and is bucketed via Data Dive Four-Bucket Keyword Sorting System.

Divebox: ASIN Selection & Generation

Data Dive's reverse-ASIN module (Divebox) is not capped at 10 ASINs — a user can pre-select roughly 20 relevant, bestselling competitor ASINs (each verified individually as a genuinely comparable product, e.g. via Helium 10 X-Ray or Data Dive's own Data Dive ASIN Tray (Manual Competitor Curation)) before running 'Dive'. The output is a niche data overview plus a Master Keyword List & Listing Scorecard, sorted by relevance by default.
