RICE is a product-management scoring framework — Reach, Impact, Confidence, Effort — used to decide whether a candidate keyword or feature belongs in a listing's title, its bullet points, or elsewhere in the copy.
High reach + high impact + low effort terms are prioritized into the title (see Amazon Listing Title Structure Formula); long-tail, higher-effort terms get pushed to bullet points or backend search terms (Amazon Generic Keywords (Backend Search Terms Field)). The distinctive move is reframing RICE's usual "effort = labor cost" axis as "effort = space cost," which only makes sense for fixed-character-count fields like Amazon titles.
