Scheduled AI Automation as an Operations Layer

An AI-workflow pattern where an assistant is scheduled to run unattended on a recurring cadence rather than answering an on-demand prompt.

Example: an Amazon seller has Claude's co-work feature pull Seller API data every Monday for a full sales/inventory/ad briefing; when API access isn't available, the seller instead has a search-term report auto-emailed to Gmail, which Claude checks on a schedule and analyzes overnight.

This generalizes past Amazon reporting — any data source can feed any output, on any cadence. See Claude Skills (Saving AI Analyses as Reusable Tools) for the underlying idea of packaging a repeatable AI analysis as a reusable skill; this concept is that skill made unattended and recurring.
