A structured group decision-making format for choosing among finalist products: mentors vote green-check (Scale) or red-X (Fail) round by round on each category of the PRIME Product-Selection Scoring Rubric. Each finalist is scored pass/fail per PRIME category rather than on a single aggregate score, so a product can be eliminated the moment it fails one non-negotiable category (e.g. patent risk under Product positioning) even if it scores well elsewhere.
Used in Helium 10's 'Scale Stories' to narrow a shortlist of candidate products (for first-time seller Natalie's launch) down to a single winner (tuning forks) in front of a live panel, turning what is otherwise a subjective founder gut-call into a transparent, criteria-by-criteria vote.
Apply: run finalist products through a round-by-round pass/fail vote on each PRIME category to reach a group decision on which single product to launch, rather than debating an overall favorite.
