A reframing of the packaging insert card from a direct review ask into a value-first exchange, in response to Amazon's policy that 'prohibits box inserts and product packaging that direct customers to write a positive review even if no incentive is offered for the review.'
Instead of a generic 'thank you, please leave a review' card, the insert leads with something the customer actually wants — a free gift, coupon, or digital asset — and only asks for feedback/review as the final, incidental step of redeeming that reward. The video's framing: 'it didn't even mention reviews on the insert card. It offered something of value, a free gift that I wanted' — the review becomes a byproduct of a value exchange rather than the ask itself.
Review Scan Go (QR Insert Card Review & Email Funnel) is the tool the video uses to operationalize this redesign via a QR-code funnel.
The insert should carry real value for the customer — not just a review ask — precisely so it survives contact with the customer instead of being discarded as junk. Pairing genuine utility with a review request is what makes the review prompt land, since reviews are treated as central to building out the listing.
